About us
Fresh Visions was founded in 2001 by a group of frontline housing workers in London.
Day after day they were coming into contact with vulnerable young people on local estates who were asking for their help. Many were lonely, isolated and suffering in silence, living in chaotic households and frequently victims or witnesses of domestic abuse. With an absence of local services, they often had nowhere else to turn to.
Fresh Visions was set up to fill this gap in local support. Over the last 21 years the charity has helped transform the lives of hundreds of young people every year.
The need for Fresh Visions today
It's currently estimated that 4.5 million children and young people live in poverty in the UK. According to recent research approximately 760,000 young adults aged 16-24 are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Fresh Visions is committed to making this picture better. We’re passionate about helping vulnerable, isloated and unsupported people to maximise their potential in these fast moving social, economic, political and technological times.
We work with children, young people and older people in our communities to find local solutions.
Our focus is on interventions with high social impact. Our commitment is to support, encourage, inspire and ultimately to change and transform people's lives - building brighter futures for all.
